New Zealand Littleneck Clams, known scientifically as Austrovenus stutchburyi, are harvested from the pristine Pacific Ocean waters along the Otago coast. These clams have been a staple in international markets for over thirty years, renowned for their exceptional quality and sustainability.

Pasta: 50 – 75 clams per kilogram (23 – 34 clams per pound)
Small: 40 – 50 clams per kilogram (18 – 23 clams per pound)
Small Medium: 32 – 40 clams per kilogram (14 – 18 clams per pound)
Medium: 28 – 32 clams per kilogram (12 – 14 clams per pound)
Large: up to 28 clams per kilogram (up to 12 clams per pound)

Littleneck clams are harvested to order to ensure freshness and quality. They are available year-round, subject to weather conditions.
Keep clams chilled in a well-drained container at 2-4 degrees Celsius (36-39 degrees Fahrenheit). Do not store clams in fresh water or in direct contact with ice. Properly handled, they will remain fresh for 12 days from harvest.
Live clams can be packed according to customer requirements, ranging from 1kg to 5kg net bags up to a 20kg carton, or 2lb to 10lb net bags up to a 40lb carton. Bulk packs are also available in various size grades.
Each 100 grams of raw edible clam flesh contains approximately 46 calories, 7.6g of protein, 5mg of iron, and 716mg of sodium. They are also a source of Omega 3 and calcium.
Littleneck clams can be enjoyed in a variety of dishes, including soups, pasta, and as a flavorful addition to seafood stews. They are versatile and lend themselves well to steaming, grilling, sautéing, or enjoying raw.
